GET READY to bid online, by phone or in person on a multitude of items at the 51st annual Rotary Auction.

It’s the second year for online bidding and changes have been made to make it more user friendly, says  co-chair Michael Hogg.

“We’ve got a little better bandwidth so hopefully online bids will go smoother than in the past,” he says.

The website is already set up and ready for pre-bidding on items as of yesterday, Friday Oct. 28.

There will be photos of most of the more than 400 items and profiles of businesses like last year. Once again, people are invited to the Coast Inn to see the items and bid in person during the auction.

The auction raises money for the Downtown Terrace Rotary  Club’s community and international projects during the year. The Rotary Auction is Nov. 5 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Nov. 6 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
