Rep teams give back to community

TWO TERRACE minor hockey teams gave back to the community with a two-hour blitz gathering food items for the Salvation Army last weekend.

Darren Munson, vice-president of Terrace Minor Hockey and manager of the midget reps, said the teams go to the community for a lot of fundraising and wanted to give something back.

The bantam reps and midget reps went door to door collecting non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army emergency food bank Dec. 3.

Major Rosa Moulton said it would all help stock the food bank.
