A SUNNY day saw lots of families come out to the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness Day in George Little Park Sept. 9.

The annual event featured a pancake breakfast, sirens to denote the day at 9:09 a.m., and a panel discussion in the arena banquet room.

In the afternoon, participants went to the park for a barbecue and activities for the whole family.
