With the help of schools and members of the community, the Terrace Public Library was able to deliver some love to seniors and other residents of Terraceview Lodge.
For the second year in a row, the library handed out card supply kits to classrooms and individuals, who then created the Valentines card, and dropped them off at the library for delivery.
Terrace Public Library’s Carolyn DeFreitas said in an email that there were 311 cards in total.
“We appreciate Cassie Hall, Ecole Mountainview, Skeena Middle School, Strong Start program and the many families and individuals who contributed beautiful artwork and thoughtful messages to residents and staff,” she said.
“What we created as a community was very special.”
