IT ISN'T open yet but the new cancer lodge for the northwest received support from a local company.
Terrace Paving is giving $5,000 for the Kordyban Lodge to the Canadian Cancer Society.
“Terrace Paving is proud to support this project,” says area manger Mirko Rutar.
The lodge will provide a "home away from home" for residents of Terrace and area and across the north when they are referred to the Northern Cancer Centre in Prince George.
The clinic and lodge are scheduled to open in late 2012.
Terrace Paving is a member of the YCS group of companies.
