Jason Scott, a Neil Diamond tribute artist, performed in Terrace at the Royal Canadian Legion on Feb. 15.
The show, Diamond Forever: A Valentine’s Celebration of Neil Diamond, is intended to provide an interactive evening with the audience that captures the spirit of his music from the past six decades.
“Neil Diamond is pretty much an iconic figure in the music industry,” says Scott. “Each year, the crowd is replenished with younger audiences.”

As a tribute artist for over 20 years, he says that it’s necessary to keep Neil Diamond’s music alive — especially ever since he’s fallen sick and has retired from performing.
“Neil Diamond talks about us tribute artists as his kids,” Scott says. “He feels it’s very important for us guys to keep on performing his music and keeping it alive for audiences to enjoy.”
