Halloween family fun for all ages

THE HALLOWEEN Howl waits to scare everyone who dares to enter Heritage Park Museum.

TONIGHT'S THE night for ghosts, frights and candy for all the trick-or-treaters who go door-to-door or to one of the organized fun parties in town.

Heritage Park Museum promises frights of all sorts: witches, ghouls, spooks, graveyards of restless souls, a cup of witches' brew for all who dare enter, gruesome medieval stocks, pirates, and the Headless Horseman himself plus rewards for costumes at its Halloween Howl from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission by donation.

The Pumpkin Party, a fun fair where you can move from station to station and collect candy, candy, candy plus get a free family photo taken goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church (south Sparks. St. beside All West Glass). Come in costume no matter what your age. Hot drinks for the adults.

And tomorrow, when you're done showing off the pumpkin you carved at home, take it to Ferry Island where everyone can see it lit up at dusk at the Ferry Island Jack-O-Lantern Festival Nov. 1 to 4. A table will be there to collect donations for the Burn Victim Fund.
