GREEN THUMBS and would-be green thumbs came out to listen to three experts at the pruning seminar at Spotted Horse Nursery March 16.

Charles Claus of River Mist Farm, Cathy Jackson of Spotted Horse and Quinton Freeman of Uplands all offered their insight into pruning techniques and growing in the northwest.

Originally intended to take place at River Mist Farm like last year's seminar, the event was moved to provide more room for everyone who came.

Participation was by donation that went to the Fruit Tree Brochure on Disease Management developed by the Greater Terrace Food Association.
