BEACH PARTY this weekend and everyone's invited; a Beach Party Cleanup, that is.
This last-minute event is looking for community assistance, rain or shine, to come help tidy up at Lakelse Lake.
Prizes will be given out and a barbecue lunch will be available for all who register to do their part.
Bring your favourite rake and gloves; refuse, flotsam and jetsam will be packed out by others so the hard work is taken care of.
This is a joint community project partnering with Parks Canada and others to promote a healthier lake by working together.
The Beach Party Cleanup takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gruchy's Beach this Saturday, May 12.
