Chamber leadership to change

The local chamber of commerce will be seeing a big change in its leadership this coming year.

The local chamber of commerce will be seeing a big change in its leadership this coming year.

Members will be voting for a new president, 1st vice president, 2nd vice president and at least six directors positions at the annual general meeting tomorrow at noon at the Best Western.

President Coleen Taylor, 1st vice president Irlanda Price and 2nd vice president James Cordiero have come to the end of their terms, as have five director positions.

Those who have completed their terms and not seeking re-election are former 1st vice president Irlanda Price and directors Char Toews, Wade Bennett and Vivian Raposo. Director Brian Langston had stepped down prior to the completion of the term.

Also completing his term this year is Bert Husband in the past president position.

Those with another year on their term are treasurer Val Gauvin and directors Janice Paulitschke, Randi Beatty, Gordon Stamp-Vincent and Tammy Praticante.
