Dear Sir: It was great to hear comments from Terrace's mayor speaking in support of the Terrace RCMP after the release of the BC Civil liberties Association (BCCLA) report "Small Town Justice: a report on the RCMP in northern and rural BC".

Dear Sir: I am appalled at the civil rights watchdog who slammed the RCMP in Terrace. Feedback from the community can be one-sided when it involves drug problems, drunkenness, unruly behaviour and from those who contribute nothing to society.

Dear Sir: Some of you may know who I am. I may have had contact with some of you over the years. I am a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I have lived in Terrace since 1992. I joined the RCMP in 1972 and retired here in 1998.
