Coast Capital Savings and BC Games Society team up again for 2016 BC Games

Three Terrace athletes are travelling with the U16 girls ringette Northern Lights team to compete in Sweden and Finland this month.

The Terrace Caledonia Kermodes launched into their first games of the basketball season with three strong games at Caledonia Dec. 4-5.

Caledonia came back pleased from provincials in Vernon, having upset the top ranked team and played strong matches during the weekend.

The Terrace Skating Club took home a sparkling team trophy and were adorned with smiles and medals after a Kitimat competition Nov. 28-29.

Upsetting last year’s champions, Centennial Christian School’s senior volleyball erupted into shouts of victory as the ball hit the ground.

Terrace River Kings shut out Prince Rupert 3-0 in Terrace Dec. 4, and are maintaining their top rank in the western division of the CIHL.

The Terrace River Kings were chosen to host the Coy Cup Championship this coming March and have an automatic berth.

Terrace River Kings shot into first last weekend in the CIHL west division with a 5-3 win against Smithers Steelheads.
