Junior curlers from Terrace, Kitimat, Smithers and Prince Rupert came together March 4th for a bonspiel at the Terrace curling rink.

“We had an amazing turnout,” said junior curling coach Kathie Simpson.

In all, there were 68 participants divided into ages of 4-7 and 8-12.

Everyone received a prize in an event that Simpson said was more about participation than having a true winner.

Simpson also hosts a juniors program at the Terrace curling rink every Monday evening at 6:30 p.m., all interested youths are invited to come and check it out.
