Terrace Peewees heading to provincials

The Terrace Peewees defeated Smithers in the zone championship here in Terrace B.C. last Saturday, Feb. 25.

After dominating two straight games against the Smithers Peewees last Saturday, Terrace's Peewee rep team is heading to provincials in Dawson Creek.

The Terrace team has had a very dominant season, even conquering gold in a higher level tier two tournament in Prince George last December.

They also seized silver in another tier two tournament in Quesnel last January.

They faced off against Smithers on Saturday, Feb. 25, in a best-of-three game series the northwest zone championship.

They conquered 10-0 in the first game Saturday morning, and went on to defeat Smithers 12-2 that night.

The Terrace Peewees now head to provincials in Dawsen Creek on March 19-23.

On the team are Isaac Davies, Kelton Shinde, Ethan Davey, Zac Gull, Zachary Carlyle, Ocean Andersen, Brennon Roy, Braden Vennard, Chad Silva, Cole Demederios, Ben Franco, Logan Kluss, Jackson Mulder, Jacob Heit and Logan Kuehne. Goalies are Brody Goodall and Mark Pietralla, and coaches include Brad Andersen, Mitch Shinde and Blaine Kluss.
