The Terrace Elementary School Sports Association hosted its annual track meet yesterday.
Students from Terrace elementary schools as well as from Kitwanga and Hazelton converged at the Skeena Secondary School track to participate in the day-long event.
Despite the occasional spattering of rain the event was well-attended with hundreds of students and teachers milling around the track and participating in races.
The city-wide track and field meet is normally held the first Saturday in June but was moved to mid-week this year.
