Dear Peter:

Your passion for Hawkair rings through clearly in your letter. We also appreciate the many years of patronage that you and your family have granted to Hawkair.

You are correct, the South Terminal has served Hawkair and our passengers well over the last decade.

The South Terminal does have advantages such as its small size and atmosphere. But on the other hand the main terminal offers many advantages that are not available at the south side.

Until recently I would not have even suggested that we make the move over to the main terminal but with the advent of the Canada Line Sky Train we took another look at the main terminal.

Although we did not talk to all passengers, we have held informal discussions with many passengers, travel coordinators, and travel agents, who work with Hawkair.

In these discussions the pros and cons of both terminals were weighed but in the end the consensus was that the advantages offered by the main terminal overcame the disadvantages.

I would welcome the opportunity to have a discussion with you about our decision please feel free to call me at your convenience.

Rod Hayward,

General Manager,

Hawkair,

Terrace, BC
