We’re not ready for the world

We have a valuable resource that needs saving for the world

Dear Sir:

We are poised to welcome the world in a period of unparalleled growth in this region.

We do not, however, have all our ducks in a row.

Apart from the fact that the Terrace and District Chamber of Commerce’s website is “not quite ready”, we have a very valuable resource that is all but abandoned.

When is somebody going to do something  about the hot springs?

It still appears on the web as some fabulous resort that is bound to disappoint all who have wind of it.

My personal opinion is seizure and share in the cost of development by increasing property tax and allowing local people to visit at reduced cost.

Vaughan Doe,

Terrace, BC
