Dear Sir:
Wow, if I had any thoughts about voting for the Green party, they are gone now.
Roger Benham, with his callous remarks about the killing of his unborn baby, “Thank God we decided to get rid of it” and women, “We think it’s nice enough to have a condom on and lo and behold . . . we get with a woman who looks like the back end of a bus.” has demonstrated the contempt for human life that underlies so many ideological discussions in regard to the environment and sustainability.
I wonder if national Green party leader Elizabeth May is aware of Mr. Benham’s opinions?
Perhaps the philosophy of the Greens is to preserve the natural environment at all cost and “Thank God” for the pseudo right to “get rid” of those inconvenient human beings who consume the Earth’s precious resources and get in the way of personal freedoms.
