To the editor,

“City of Terrace bans nativity scene from City Hall roof” read the headline in the Terrace Standard, and in the article it states the administration is referencing a 2015 Supreme Court of Canada decision, about prayer in public meetings. Yes a nativity scene is considered a religious symbol, but what will the City of Terrace do, cancel Christmas holidays for city staff, since it is a religious holiday and while we are at it, will they work through Easter as well, also a religious holiday?
