Legal action said possible

The current total lack of information and public input is not acceptable.

An open letter to:

The Kitimat-Stikine Regional District

Dear Chair, Board, and Members:

Re: Forceman Ridge.

I find it amazing that the previous board, at the direction of Mr. Polland and staff, has decided to go forward with the landfill site designed at Forceman Ridge.

They have totally ignored the concerns and petitions that have been presented.

The evidence, by their own admission, would now seem to show that the drainage water flows, from this site, into Lakelse Lake and not the Kitimat River.

My question is why would you proceed with engineering or any other expenditure until this issue, of major concern, has been dealt with.

This after all, is our tax dollars, so do it right the first time!

The current total lack of information and public input is not acceptable.

Therefore, if this is to proceed with the above mentioned concerns not being addressed, legal action may be the last resort.

Howard Gray,

Prince Rupert, BC
