He's not a 'Good Canadian'

I want to leave a legacy of drinkable water for my kids

Dear Sir

Like most Canadians, I want to leave a legacy for my kids.

According to the Harper branch of Re-Form Canada Inc, a ‘good’ patriotic  Canadian would do that in the form of a stock portfolio heavily invested into primary resource extractive industries, and not quibble about the benefits of things like Enbridge’s Gateway proposal.

I guess I’m not a Good Canadian. Because the legacy I want to leave for my kids is drinkable water and breathable air and four seasons that (except for the mosquitoes) are wonderful in their variety and their diversity.

Maybe I’m being greedy.

But maybe your kids would appreciate those things, too.
