In Loving Memory ~

Wilma was born in Hamburg Germany on April 11, 1929. She met her husband, Helmut in 1952 and married him in 1955. They immigrated to Canada and travelled by cross-Atlantic ship to Halifax, and then by train to Wells, BC where her husband had gained sponsored employment in the Gold Mines.

She spent many happy years living first in Wells with her growing family, and then moving to Terrace BC permanently in 1965.

Wilma was predeceased by her loving husband, Helmut in 1992.

Wilma is survived by her children Shelley (Kelly) Anderson, Eileen (Herb) Dusdal, Patrick (Margot) Zips, grandchildren Shane (Heather) Anderson, Kara (Tristan) Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Cassandra (Ken) Dusdal, Marrick (Luke) Whittaker, Briar (Madi) Zips, Trai (Maya) Zips and four wonderful great-grandchildren: Navy, Calder, Brayley and Theo, and nieces and nephews in Australia, Germany and Canada.

Wilma was a kind and giving soul. Her family was her life and she showed everyone in many thoughtful little ways how much she loved them... family dinners and lunches, Advent, a special gift or a card for a special occasion or accomplishment and of course each person's favorite German torte on their birthdays.

The children and grandchildren always came home to her. She was well loved and will be missed by all who knew her well.

Rest in peace with Dad, Mom!

We will love you forever and for always.

A big thank you to the Terraceview and MMH staff including Dr. Moolman for the care and attention you all gave our mother over the years. We will be forever appreciative.

There will be no service for Wilma at her request.
