Wilfred Emanuel Haugland October 13, 1928 passed away in Mills Memorial Hospital August 15, 2020. Wilfred lived his entire life in Terrace, B.C.
Predeceased by his wife Lillian, son Alan, daughter Gayle, and daughter-in-law Elsie, his brother George, his sister Irene and her husband Andy Owens, his sister Dolly and her husband Pete Murie, his brother-in-law Gunnar Paulson, his sister-in-law Margaret Hamer, and brother-in-law Frank Pongracz. He leaves behind his sister Pearl Paulson, brother-in-law George Hamer, sister-in-law Val Haugland, sister-in-law Sarah Pongracz, brother-in-law Larry Craig (Debby), daughter Doris (Greg), sons Edward (Beverly), and Jerry, also his daughter-in-law Beverley Ann as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was a local logging contractor operating Cedar River Timber (1971) Co. Ltd. until he retired in 2000. A few years back he would love spending time on his boat in the ocean and often talked about going out fishing one more time.
The family would like to send a thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff at Mills Memorial Hospital for their care during his last few days. Thank you also to all who sent cards, well wishes and made donations in his name.
