Born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Sylvia was the second youngest of 5 sisters and 5 brothers.
Raised on a farm, this is where she acquired her incredible hard work ethic and ability to get things done.
She brought these skills to any job at task. She was particularly proud to have served as personal secretary for MP Iona Campagnolo And later in her work career for Interconnect Community Services.
Sylvia passed away peacefully in Penticton, BC. With family by her side.
She was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Murdoch and all of her immediate family. Sylvia is survived by her 4 sons, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to Anacita Berkey, a loyal, caring and very thoughtful friend over many years. Your efforts are/were greatly appreciated.
Sylvias' thoughtful caring way to try to always please will be sadly missed by remaining family and friends.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
