It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Labelle
Farwig after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Susan passed away on July 23 2015 with numerous friends by her side.
Susan worked for Shames Mountain Ski Corp for 17 years as the downtown office manager and was an important figure in keeping Shames Mountain open through some difficult years. Her dedication and
determination were key features. As well she served as bookkeeper for Park Optometry with the same dedication and over the same time period.
As per Susan’s request, there will be no formal
funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dr REM Lee Foundation, oncology
section.
We would like to thank Dr Fourie, Dr Meyberg and the staff at Mills Memorial Hospital for their kind and caring support for Susan in her final days.
