Celebration Of Life

August 16th, 1958 - July 30th, 2011

We the family would like to invite the community of Kitimat to participate in a celebration of life for the late Shelley Jean Jackson.

Shelley is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Bryan Jackson, two daughters Christine & Sarah Jackson, as well as her parents Bob & Susan Gordon, her sisters Karen Marion & Donna Humbly, and Brother Robert

Gordon, among many other family members and friends.

Shelley Jackson was pillar of the community. She was a teacher and career counselor at Mount Elizabeth

Secondary School for many decades, and was involved in many political and social organizations and groups in the community. She was hard working and dedicated to what she believed in. She touched the lives of many students, taking a personal interest in each of their lives and strived to ensure their success.

Please join us at the First United Church of Kitimat, November 27th, 2011 at 2:00 PM to celebrate the life of Shelley Jackson, and show support to her husband and family.

Joe has overcome great adversity to be able to join us on this day. All students, colleagues, and friends of Shelley are all welcome and encouraged to come join us. We would love to see everyone there. Reception to follow in the church basement.
