born May 27 1958 in Esperanza, BC, Jesus called him home on March 31, 2011 in Burnaby BC.
Bruce was the first grandchild to be born in his grandfather’s hospital on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. His family lived in Esperanza until 1968, then moved to Terrace on Jan 1, 1969. Bruce graduated from Caledonia Senior Secondary in 1977 and attended Northwest Community College in the 80’s. He did security work in the Vancouver area before being employed with the ICS Courier Service. He worked there for the past thirteen years. He had a warm loving heart, and was always seeking to press into His Lord. He left us peacfully in his sleep, to join his God and grandparents, uncle, and cousin on March 31.
He leaves to mourn his loss; parents Robert (Bob) and Shirley Sutherland of Kelowna, BC, sister Joy (husband Steve, and boys Tyrell & Rylan) of Kelowna, BC, brother Vance (wife Wendy, children: Naomi, Matthew, Elyse, Joelle) of Brampton ON, and sister Valerie (husband James, children Jesiah & Mahaelee) of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, and one special aunt Dottie McLean of Burnaby BC.
Memorial was in Burnaby on April 9th. Thanks to those who loved, cared and supported Bruce.
