In Loving Memory ~
It is with bittersweet emotion that Dick's family announce his passing, with his loving wife and daughters by his side. Although we are sad that he is no longer with us, we are happy that he is now free from his pain and suffering.
Dick is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edith, daughters Jo-Ann (Steven) Buhr, Julie (Kelly) Rodda, Linda (Mike) Portsch, daughter-in-law Karen Martin, and their families, which include 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
He is also survived by his sister Ruth (Carl) Adams and her family.
He was predeceased by his son Rick, and we are happy, knowing that they are now together again and on the most epic fishing trip ever!
Huge thanks to Dad's amazing healthcare team, especially Dr. Lim, Dr. Geller, Dr. Fourie, Dr. Bukhres, Dr. Berends and the incredible nursing staff, who were all so attentive and compassionate with Dad, as well as with all of us. You all ROCK!
There are no plans for a celebration at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dad's memory to the REM Lee Hospital Foundation.
