Rene' Jenster of Terrace, formerly of Kitimat, BC passed away peacefully at Terraceview Lodge on April 13, 2022 with loving wife Evelyn and sons at his side. After going through difficult times of being in a wheelchair for the past 23 years and the past 4 years with Alzheimers, he is at rest.
A Celebration of Life was held at Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Reid officiating. Fittingly a hymn of "Life's Railway To Heaven" was sung.
Rene' was predeceased by his father Tony, and survived by his wife Evelyn, sons Steven (Debbie), Christopher (Lindsay), grandchildren: Teagan, Abbie, Hartley, Oaklyn and Norah of Kitimat, BC, mother Mia and sister Marianna Sweet of Vernon, BC, mother-in-law Louise Morton, sisters-in-law Darlene (Jerry) Keeping, Karen (Doug) McLarty, Nancy Jackson (Norm Penner) and brother-in-law Tom (Romea) Morton and families; nieces and nephews, families in Holland and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Skeena Valley Model Railroad Association of which Rene' had a life long relationship. This may be done through Ian Illing, Kitimat, BC.
