August 13, 1930 - December 22, 2019
Ray was raised in 93 Mile House before moving to Terrace in the early 1950's with his wife Joan to raise three sons and work in forestry. Ray coached minor hockey & baseball, played ball, golf, badminton, curling as well as being an avid angler and hunter and a master storyteller.
Ray was predeceased by his parents Emma & Raymond Sr., wife of 49 years Joan Flaherty and brothers Gordon & Dennis Flaherty. Ray is survived by his sons Brent, Mark (Sandy) and Wade (Carmie), grandchildren Kevin, Krista, Kyle, Jordyn and Gavin; numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Ray's family & friends would like to thank the amazing staff at Terraceview Lodge for the care he received.
A Celebration of Life for Ray will be held in the summer of 2020.
