In memory of Our dear husband, father, and grandfather, Ralph Stewart Johnston passed away suddenly on January 16, 2022.
Ralph was Born on September 27, 1955, in Vancouver.
He grew up in Gibsons on the South Coast of B.C. and attended school there until his graduation. He then moved to Vancouver to take stream plant courses. He proceeded to work in Port Mellon with his father for a few years.
He moved to Kitimat in December of 1980 and began working at Eurocan. He moved to Terrace in the mid-1980 where he raised his family while continuing to work at Eurocan until its closure in 2010.
Ralph is remembered by his wife Maria Lynn (nee Bateson); children Elvira Michelle, Ryan (Kim), Evan (Sophie), and Keith; 7 grandchildren; brother Karl (Linora); aunt Hazel; brothers-in-law Victor (Ann), Don and Ken Bateson; as well as many extended family members.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents Margaret Eileen (nee Dwight) and John Lewis Johnston.
