March 8, 1955 - February 23, 2020
It is with eternal love and great sadness that I announce the passing of my wife Rae (Denise) Law. Denise passed away Feb 23, surrounded by family and friends after a very hard fought battle with cancer.
Denise is survived by her husband Wesley Law; two daughters, Shasta (Jeff) Gillanders and Pamela (Danny) Lloyd; and five grandsons, Rylan and Landon Gillanders and Lauchlan, Sawyer and Arlen Lloyd. Denise is also survived by her sister, Colette (Richard) Vetter of Prince George.
Denise was born March 8, 1955 to Stan and Gladys Henry of Prince George, BC. In 1976, Denise and Wesley Law married and in 1977. Denise graduated from Pharmacy at UBC. Denise worked in both hospital and retail pharmacy and had an incredible passion for her work, customers and clients. She was always very eager to help and was loved by all.
Besides her work, husband and raising two daughters, she had a very active life. She was an avid outdoors person that loved hunting, fishing, diving, skiing, canoeing hiking and travel. She also had many other hobbies such as quilting & sewing, photography, painting to name a few. Denise was an incredible woman with such an incredible life that should be celebrated.
There will be a Celebration of Denise's life when it is safe to do so. The time, date and location will be announced with lots of notice to allow planning for those who would like to share in that celebration. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Cancer Society.
