Pat passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Prince George Pat was the oldest of 12 children. Pat lived in Smithers for over 60 years. In 1965 she married Joesef Utz and raised 3 sons, John, Bill and Peter, on their Aspencroft farm in Evelyn.
Later Pat worked as custodian for the Smithers School District. She moved to Terrace in 2011. Pat is predeceased by her husband (Joesef Utz), mother and father (Agnes and Steve Olynyk), brother (Robert Olynyk), sister (Shirley Palumbo). She is survived by her 3 sons John (Sue), Bill (Renee), Peter (Sherry), four grandchildren Brook, Kevin, Kerry, and Joey nine siblings Carol, Jerry, Judy, Sharon, Sandra, Janet, Steve, Susan and Ron.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Evelyn - Paul Lychuk Hall at 11:00 a.m. Potluck - Tea to follow.
