June 25th, 1935 — July 11th, 2005
Shirley Van Blarcom was born in Donalda, Alberta on June 25th 1935, married August 1st 1953 in Vancouver and then moved to Terrace in 1964. Shirley passed away peacefully on July 11th 2005, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
She will be sadly missed by her Husband of 52 years Don Parr, Brother Donald (Phyllis) Van Blarcom, Sons Robert (Lynne), Geoff (Karen), Daughter Barb (Ralph) Lenardt, Son Colin (Val), Grandchildren Stacey (Greg) Stromme, Steven, Katie, Sean, Dawson, Roscoe, Andrea, Great Granddaughter Callee and many other relatives and good friends.
Shirley will be fondly remembered for her love of family and for her thoughtfulness of others.
