June 3, 1922 - September 23, 2018
Born June 3, 1922 in Prince Rupert B.C. The 4th daughter of Edward T. and Janet L. Kenney of Terrace Died September 23, 2018 at Terraceview Lodge in Terrace B.C.

Predeceased by husband Nelson Morrison, sisters Margaret, Marjorie (Fulton) and Lorraine (Johnstone). Survived by Margaret-Anne (David), John, Catherine (Kevin), grandchildren Ashley, Sarah, Robert and Matthew, great-grandchildren Jaxson and Erin, brother Edward Kenney (Barbara), numerous nieces and nephews and their families as well as many cherished friends.

Nursing was her calling and she worked extremely hard (school work never being her forte!) to earn her RN from Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria and her PHN from UBC. She worked in rural Ontario and British Columbia as well as in poorer areas of Scotland and England with the Victorian Order of Nursing before embarking on a motorcycle tour on her Royal Enfield with a friend in tow throughout post war Europe.

She touched the lives of many in the course of her life and is remembered for her care, her compassion and her dedication. An adventurous and curious soul all her life she had a wide and varied circle of friends and interests and was seldom found sitting still.

Hers was a full life devoted to her family, her friends and to her community; she will be missed - so, when you see the sun shining on Sleeping Beauty please think of her and smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring 2019.

In lieu of flowers or in her memory a donation to Terrace Search and Rescue Building Fund will be gratefully appreciated.

If you have any stories you would like to share with the family we would gratefully receive them at baxbc2551@gmail.com.

A life well lived and a rest well earned ...
