Neta passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Neta was born in Topley but moved to Telkwa to finish her schooling. Neta married Jim Arnold in 1951 and the family moved to Terrace in 1956, she spent most of the rest of her life here.
Neta worked at the Lakelse Hotel for 30 years, she was involved in the Legion Ladies Auxillry, enjoyed Bingo and was a regular at the Bingo Hall. She liked to bowl, knit and watch game shows and watching curling with her son on TV. Neta moved to McConnell Estates in 2014 and life was good, no more cooking and wonderful staff to watch over her.
Neta is survived by her daughters, Judy (Irv), Barb (Brian) and her son Ron (Lisa). Her Grandchildren, Marty, Kari (Kelly), Mitch, David (Heather) and Graham (Chelsey). Her Great Grandchildren, Meghan, Colby and Jaden.
The family would like to thank everyone who supported us during this difficult time, We will just name a few that were extra special. Dr. Strydom, Darcy, Keri, Carla, Carol, Jamie and Ida. Also the wonderful staff at McConnell Estates.
