Nancy Jean Greenwood

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce the passing of a wife, a Mother, a friend, a love.

No more tender kisses, no more sweet caresses, no more hugs that envelop you like a warm blanket, no more lingering scents in a room just vacated, no more delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen. Only an emptiness that cannot be filled, and a solitude deafening to the senses. Style, grace, strength, support, attention to detail. Vacated in an instant, leaving a void in the ether of a size unimaginable. Her mind, her body, her beauty, her very essence devoured by the scourge af diseases leaving nothing but memories and a melancholy that weighs so heavy on the minds af all those who knew and loved her.

AH, MAKE THE MOST OF WHAT WE YET MAY SPEND BEFORE WE TOO INTO THE DUST DESCEND;

DUST INTO DUST, AND UNDER DUST, TO LIE,

SANS WINE, SANS SONG, SANS SINGER, AND -SANS END!

Predeceased by her parents, Jean and Jim Fick. Left to grieve her too soon passing, and asking the eternal question, “Why?” her loving husband of 42 years, Dale, daughters Brittanny and Shawna, grandchildren Kaidence, Brooklynne and Brodie, inlaws, outlaws and friends a many across the country and around the world.

As per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no service.

Special thanks to those very close friends whose support and strength allowed our family to survive this devastation. Also the medical support team who helped ease the anguish and pain during her final days.

BY A WATERFALL I’M CALLING YOU

WE CAN HAVE IT ALL BENEATH A CEILING OF BLUE, IT’S A MAGIC MELODY,

MOTHER NATURE, YOU AND ME, BESIDE A WATERFALL WITH YOU.

HERE WITH A LOAF OF BREAD, BENEATH THE BOUGH A FLASK OF WINE, A BOOK OF VERSE-AND THOU BESIDE ME SINGING IN THE WILDERNESS

AND WILDERNESS IS PARADISE NOW!

THERE WAS A DOOR TO WHICH I FOUND NO KEY: THERE WAS A VEIL PAST WHICH I COULD NOT SEE: SOME LITTLE TALK AWHILE OF ME AND THEE

THERE SEEM’D — AND THEN, NO MORE OF THEE …AND ME!
