In Loving Memory ~
It is with profound sadness that the family of Mavis Iris Ramsey MSM, of Terrace B.C., announce her passing on March 19th, 2023, with her loving husband Ron and daughter Jodie by her side.
Mavis will be dearly missed by her husband of 54 years, Ron and their children: Corina (Aaron), Diana (Josh), and Jodie (Brian), grandchildren: Ashley, Christina, and Anthony, great-grandchildren: Stella & Nash, along with numerous family members and friends.
Mavis & Ron founded Helping Hands of Terrace Society and worked tirelessly to help others in their community. In March of 2020, Ron and Mavis were awarded the Meritorious Service Medal of Canada (civilian division) for their charity work.
Mavis loved her family dearly and was so proud of her girls. She made sure you always knew how much she loved you. Mavis was sassy and unfiltered, always cracking jokes, and making those around her laugh.
The family wishes to send a very special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Vancouver General Hospital and Mills Memorial Hospital, in particular, Luke, Mom's "Skywalker", and Dr. G. Linton for the care & kindness they gave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Helping Hands of Terrace Society at the Northern Savings Credit Union in Terrace B.C.
