Born in Dublin, Ireland on July 3, 192l, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2003 in Nanaimo, BC.
She is predeceased by her husband Pat in 1991. Mary leaves behind her brother Pat Burchael in Dublin Ireland, her two sons John (Brenda) of Nanaimo, and Joseph of Nanaimo, her three daughters Mary Turner of Dawson Creek, Irene (David) Fyfe of Campbell River, and Joan (Rick) Lachapelle of Terrace, 18 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held for Mary at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church on Jinglepot Rd, on Friday, August 22 at 7:00pm. Father Greuter officiated. Interment took place in Terrace City Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 1OOpm. A special thanks to Dr. Dorsey and the caring staff at Malaspina Lodge.
