Margaret Anne Stanvick (nee Chinn)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Stanvick on December 20st, 2022 in Terrace B.C. at the age of 73.
Margaret was born January 15th, 1949 in Mountain Park Alberta to parents Russell and Ruth Chinn. Margaret moved to Terrace British Columbia with her parents in 1952. Margaret met Douglas Stanvick in Terrace in 1972 and they raised 3 children together.
After moving from Province to Province, following road construction, Marg and Doug moved back to Terrace in 1985.
Margaret loved to travel in her younger years to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Mexico and Disney Land and spend time with her friends, family and spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved her crafts, and spent many hours crafting with her children and grandchildren.
Margaret will be dearly missed by her husband, Doug, and her daughter, Paula (Rocky) and her son Rob (Cheryl) and son Shawn (Karry) and her grandchildren, Brheanna, Katelin, Dalton, Brooklynn, Kolten and great-granddaughter, Paisley, brothers George (Angeline), Alfred and sister Dora and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Russell and Ruth Chinn, and her brothers Irvin, Ronald, Vernon, Fred and Laverne.
We'd like to express our sincere appreciation to the medical team at Mills Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care of our loved one.
Memorial service on May 12th 2023 At MacKay's Funeral Home in Terrace BC at 1:00pm.
Luncheon will follow at 2:00pm at the Best Western's Skeena Room at 4553 Greg Ave
