It is with great sadness that the family of Lyle Everett Owen announces his passing on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Vancouver General Hospital.

Lyle was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan to Roy and Edna Owen of Battleford, Sask. In 1964 Lyle moved to Kitimat where he worked for Alcan and Eurocan Pulp and Paper.

After moving to various small towns for work Lyle and hisfamily settled in Terrace in 1987 and lived there until his passing.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife (Elaine) and children; Bill (Kathy), Michelle (Wayne), Darren and his older brother Melvin. Grandchildren: Robert and Cailin. In-laws: Stanley (Marlene) Jerry (Darlene), Ted (Hazel), Laurel (Brian) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lyle enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family until he had a stroke in June 2003.

He will be missed by family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2018.
