Lorna Bjorg Victoria Klowak

June 25, 1928 – July 5, 2010

Resided 47 years in Terrace, B.C.

Lorna passed away peacefully on July 5, 2010 at the age of 82 years at Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lorna leaves behind loving husband Joe of 58 years, daughter Sylvia (David) James of St. Albert, AB; son Ken (Pam) Klowak of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Corina (Steve) Grue, Edmonton, AB; Carla (Jim) Hastings, Edmonton AB; Jesse (Adrianna) Klowak, Calgary, AB; Mandy Klowak (Brent Patchin) Calgary, AB, plus nine beautiful great-grandchildren.

Lorna is predeceased be her parents Thora and Louis Muir of Russell, Man.; Earl Cohoe, Ontario; surviving siblings, Elma Sullivan, Winnipeg, Man.; Lil Cohoe, Barrie, Ontario; Mervin (Anne) Muir, Russell, Man. and many nieces and nephews.

Lorna worked 26 years at Skeenaview and Terraceview Lodges before retiring in 1993. She also was a member of the Happy Gang and donated her time to volunteering. She loved her game shows and her No. 1 passion was doing crossword puzzles. Lorna had a passionate love for life and will always be remembered for her loving smile. As a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, niece, cousin and dear friend, she will be sadly missed.

We thank Dr. Fourie, Dr. Meyburg, Dr. Kenyon, Dr. Karpiak and all the nursing staff for making Lorna feel comfortable and pleasant during her stay in hospital. A private memorial service for family to follow.
