August 23, 1958 - July 25, 2020
It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our beautiful, vibrant & courageous, Llana Rose Long.
She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on July 25th, 2020 at 12:30 pm.
Llana was born on August 23, 1958 in Burns Lake BC. She grew up in small towns throughout BC as her father worked for BC Hydro and tended to move every so often.
The family spent majority of their free time outdoors - skiing, hiking, building cabins, farming, exploring etc - which led her to an affinity to nature. Her absolute happy place.
When she wasn't fussing about in the kitchen, or cleaning or gardening, you could find her in the forest, sipping a beer and immersing herself in nature.
For those of you who knew Llana, you probably loved her. She had the brightest personality, the biggest heart and the ability to brighten anyone's day (while still telling you exactly how it is).
She challenged us, taught us, mentored us, messed with us, cooked for us....she laughed, cried and partied with us..... friends -old or new-, always became her friends. Just because she was so wonderful in so many ways.
Our dear sweet Llana....you will be missed but never forgotten.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Llana's life. Thank you for the support and the love that we have received and thank you for all of those who have been a part of her journey.
