Leif Sorensen
April 20, 1932 - December 9, 2008
Leif was born in Koltsogn, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1959.
He passed away in the early hour of December 9 in his home with family at his side.
He is predeceased by his son Mark and parents Anders and Agnethe Sorensen. He leaves his sister Betty Knudson and brother Jimmy Sorensen of Denmark.
He is survived by his daughter Susan (Ray) Haynes; son Pete (Eva) Sorensen & Lorraine Johnson. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren Jenny, Nick and Mat Haynes of Kamloops and Blake Johnson (Little Goop) of Port Edward, B.C.
At his request his ashes are to be thrown up in a big wind. No service or memorial.
The family would like to thank his dear friends Ed & Babs Gordon, Lillian Johnson and Glen Doan for being with him, and other acquaintances along his journey in life.
