LEIF HVAAL EIDE

April 20, 2004

October 13, 1933 - April 20, 2004

Survived by his wife Sylvia, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Ole, sisters Doris, Gerd, Sylvia, and their families.

Predeceased by his father Halvor, mother Helma and sister Norah.

Born in Burns Lake, B.C., a logger and avid fisherman who listened to the teachings of his spirit with a love and respect for the woods and the silence of nature.

A great hunter. A brave warrior. His spirit soars.

Many thanks for the love and support we’ve received from our family and friends. Donations in his memory may be made to the “World Wildlife Fund”.

On my passing, I ask

that you not sit in silence.

Please do not mourn

and please do not cry,

as I have not left you.

My body is gone, but my soul

surrounds you.

My laughter lives on,

and my shadow stands with

the trees.

I am the sun,

the moon,

the wind,

and the rain.

I am the forest.

I am the air.

I am wild.

I am free.
