Laverne Peter ANGIELSKI
December 6, 1946 - October 18, 2007
Laverne was born in Wishart, Saskatchewan. He moved to
Terrace to embark upon a very satisfying and rewarding career with the Co-op.
Anyone who knew Laverne will identify with his love for the river. The river was a place where he could share his passion for fishing with his children, grandchildren as well as many friends and acquaintances. Laverne also enjoyed sports, music and being close to nature.
Laverne was predeceased by his father Henry. Laverne’s mother Josephine resides in Regina Saskatchewan. Laverne also leaves behind his partner Gaetane; his children Blane (Gigi), Shane
(Brandy); his step-children Suzanne (Leonard) and Daniel (Jane). Laverne’s grandchildren Sydney, Bryce,
Ryley, Paisley, Marinda, Ryan and Lucus will miss the special moments that they shared with their Papa. Laverne is also survived by his sister El (Emil) and his brother Kas (Dawn).
Laverne was laid to rest at the Terrace Cemetery following a service held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, October 25th with Father Tom Magnuson officiating.
