On April 21, 2008 Mrs. Laura A. Tkachanko of Terrace B.C. passed away at the age of 65 years.
She is survived by her loving husband Buz Tkachanko and daughter Penny Tkachanko; brother-in-law
Manley Tkachanko (Laura) and Jannette Sanregret (Ray) and nieces.
Predeceased by her father Tiny Kempton and her mother Lila M. Wilson.
Laura worked at Terrace Safeway for over 35 years, where she was known by the nickname “The Dragon Lady”.
The family would like to thank Safeway management and staff for their support and assistance.
Thanks to all those friends and family that sent flowers, food and condolences.
A memorial service was held at the Elks Hall in Terrace on April 29, 2008, officiated by Shirley Lindsay.

Laura has touched many lives and has been a positive influence to many people.
She will be dearly missed by all.
