Joe immigrated to Canada in 1952. In 1954 Elly joined him and following their marriage they moved to Prince Rupert where Rose and Rob were born. The family moved back to Terrace in 1963. Shortly after, Joe and his brother started an automotive dealership.
Joe loved people, enjoyed travelling, dancing and listening to music. He especially cherished his wife and family. Joe’s positive attitude towards life and people had an impact on many and was an example to all.
Joe will be greatly missed by his loving wife Elly, Daughter Rose (Gerry) and Son Rob (Kathie),
Grandchildren Jessica, Ryan, Curt and Sarah,
Brothers Bill and Herman (Sheri),
Sister Hanny (†Dec. 1, 2007)
And many other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Mass was held on December 3, 2007 at
Sacred Heart Church. The family would like to thank Father Terry Brock and all the friends who supported us during this difficult time. A special thank you to the Oncology Department and the palliative care nurses at Mills Memorial Hospital for their kindness.
He will be forever in our hearts.
