Joe was born in Sao Miguel Acores, Portugal. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria of 45 years, his children Joe (Jerri), Diane (Lada), Grand children Jeremy and Tristan, his sister Anna (Jim) Ventura, as well as many nephews and nieces.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Fourie and staff at Mills Memorial Hospital. The family also wishes to express their gratitude to their family, friends, neighbours and father James through prayers, meals, baking, flowers mass offerings and cards of condolences.
