Born June 29, 1963, in Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023, in her apartment in Victoria, B.C. Joleen started school in Crawford Bay, B.C., and moved with her family several times before residing in Terrace. She attended school in Terrace from 1974 until graduating in 1981. She was attracted to horses, music, poetry, and all animals from an early age. Joleen spent many hours on the back of a horse and was the Kispiox Valley Rodeo Queen in 1978. In her later years, Joleen became a professional dog groomer. She is survived by 2 daughters, Adrienne Goodwin and Royleen Seidlitz of Terrace, along with 3 granddaughters, one grandson, and her faithful dog Wally. A celebration of her life will take place at the Thornhill Community Grounds indoor arena on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. All those who knew and loved Joleen are invited to attend.
